Large Decals

Install

1. Clean the surface you are applying to (avoid using cleaners that will leave a residue or greasy feel. Very diluted soap water is fine.)
2. Measure up and align the decal with the position required and use masking tape on the corners to hold in place.
3. For Square decals, a top hinge is usually better, for rectangle or long center is better.

4. Once the tape hinge is holding in place, lift the decal folding at the hinge, then remove the backing paper slowly, if the decal comes away with the back paper lay it back down and apply pressure to the app paper over the decal to stick the decal more to the app paper (top layer).

**If you are not confident with applying it flat without air bubbles etc then please follow the below before moving onto step 5

After removing the backing paper, spray soapy water to the back of the decal and the surface it is being applied to, then slowly run the squeegee over it more to remove water from under the decal and app paper. **(Only on surfaces that will not get affected by water)

5. After The Backing paper has been removed slowly and cut then begin to work the app paper and decal down onto the surface (making sure to keep straight) and use a squeegee to apply pressure to the app paper until its completly stuck. Leave for 10-15 min so the decal can adhere to the surface.

(Center Hinge step 4 and 5 has to be repeated for the other side)

6. After being left for 10-15 min you can then start to remove the App paper (top layer) from the decal. Work from the corners and pull slowly away at a sharp angle (folded back onto itself)
If any parts of the decal lift then lay the app paper back down slightly and apply pressure over the decal.
Slowly remove untill the app paper is completly off leaving only the decal behind.

7. When the decal is left on the surface, check it is fully stuck and not loose on the corners or edges.
if it is then press down on the decal where needed. extra pressure will help the adhesive to stick.
*Do NOT wipe accross the decal with the squeegee as it could cause the edges to lift
